The Spanish Embassy design draws inspiration from flamenco — a powerful cultural dance balancing restraint and eruption, mass and void, strength and elegance. A dramatic red staircase serves as a sculptural and kinetic centerpiece, clad in aluminum to create a tactile rhythm that brings movement and story into the space.
Inspired by flamenco’s dynamic interplay of control and passion, this project transforms cultural heritage into a physical experience. The red staircase embodies the dance’s fluid movements, translating rhythm and emotion into architectural form. Blending contemporary modernism, cubism, and parametric design, the space breaks geometric conventions to create a vibrant stage where history, identity, and movement converge in a living narrative.
