Salt of the Earth is a spiritual and cultural center offering a contemporary interpretation of spaces rooted in Jewish identity. The project explores how values and practices within Jewish culture can shape spatial experience, creating a place that encourages a temporary disconnection from the outside world, inward reflection, and a deeper connection to oneself and the community.
From vision to reality
The concept is translated into a sequence of intimate and communal spaces dedicated to dialogue, reading, contemplation, and gathering. Through transitions between enclosure and openness, materiality, light, and carefully framed moments of pause, the architecture supports different levels of interaction and reflection - shaping an environment designed to nourish both body and soul.
